The University has forged successful educational and training partnerships with Indiana businesses and organizations including FEDEX, Visteon, Meridian Automotive, school systems, and other organizations. CBP will leverage the resources of the university in terms of providing strategic planning and effective implementation of those strategies with measurable results. A major asset of this initiative with be the School for Adult Learning (SAL) at the University of Indianapolis, which provides customized education and training, prior learning assessment, credit programs, and professional development. In addition, the University of Indianapolis has demonstrated the capability to serve the community through various outreach initiatives. For example, the University of Indianapolis and Southeast Neighborhood Development (SEND) have formed a partnership to provide on-site programs and courses at the Wheeler Arts Center in the city's historic Fountain Square district.
