Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship is a program utilizing nontraditional business training. The emphasis of this major will be business creation. Classes will address business concerns from the perspective of a small start-up business. Some topics will include:
- funding
- venture capital
- small business administration
- business incubators
Students will be pushed to network with local entrepreneurs and small business groups. Major/core learning is enhanced by small class size and an emphasis on group work, which enables students to work closely with faculty and peers who are rich in professional experience.
Students follow the concentration as a cohort; this intensifies the learning environment and helps students build a network of future business relationships.
