Message from the Dean

I am pleased to welcome you to our website. We have many exciting majors to offer you. The courses are taught by dedicated faculty who are most interested in your personal growth and ultimate success.

University of Indianapolis provides you with a small campus environment in the State's largest metropolitan marketplace. Students are provided opportunities that are seldom available at other private institutions. Nearly one hundred local corporations provide valuable internship experiences to our business students each year.

A wonderful partnership is evolving between the School of Business and the local business community. You should consider Uindy in your short list of campuses to visit in this upcoming academic year.

Sincerely,
Mitch Shapiro

About the School of Business

The purpose of the School of Business is to provide students with a broad background in general business and economics and to give them adequate preparation to pursue graduate school and to assume responsible positions in business, industry, government, secondary teaching, or in nonprofit institutions.

All entering freshmen in the School of Business can declare their major areas and are assigned a key advisor. A day student can complete requirements for a bachelor's degree in four years if the curriculum guide as outlined by the school is followed.
